Each piece has been created to reflect ideas and pictures I envision. I think of a color scheme, pattern or specific image and portray it on canvas. These ideas develop their final stages through alterations, mistakes, layers and layers of acrylic. Someone once told me some of the biggest mistakes become some of the most outstanding pieces. Mistakes come from taking risks. My only art class was in high school, so to invest myself as an artist is, for me, taking quite a risk, and I love it.
